Reformation's Prayer Shawl Ministry typically meets every Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. This is an important ministry to the church because Prayer Shawls are provided for anyone who is ill or has a special need. If you or a loved one could benefit from receiving a prayer shawl, please contact the church office.

If you're interested in the prayer shawl ministry, materials are provided; this ministry has been fortunate to receive donations of yarn. If you want to join but aren't sure how to knit or crochet, there will always be someone in the prayer shawl ministry group who can help you learn. No experience necessary to get involved!

The members of the prayer shawl ministry take Reformation's mission statement seriously (Bringing Christ to Others by Building Relationships) because in addition to knitting and crocheting, they have a great time laughing and will meet outside of their "regular" time for breakfast or lunch.

After the prayer shawls are finished, they are blessed in worship once a month before they are given to the recipients.

Whether you are a member of Reformation or not, have lots of experience or none, live locally or farther away, have lots of years under your belt or are still young, you are welcome to join!
