The Staff of Reformation
The Staff at Reformation Lutheran Church is dedicated to supporting, nurturing, and love the children of God at Reformation, in the community of Lancaster, and across the world.

Rev. Christopher Girardeau
Pastor
Pastor Christopher Girardeau (he/him) has served as the pastor of Reformation Lutheran Church since October 2021. A native of Spartanburg, he graduated with his bachelor's degree from Clemson University in 2017, and followed by his Master of Divinity from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in 2021.
One of Pastor Christopher's greatest joys in ministry is walking alongside others in their faith journeys—an experience that continually deepens his own faith as well. He enjoys thoughtful theological conversations over a well-crafted espresso just as much as he delights in experiencing God’s handiwork in the beauty of creation. It was in the mountains of North Carolina, while serving three summers on staff at Lutheridge, that he first discerned his call to ordained ministry.
Before coming to Reformation, Pastor Christopher completed his year-long pastoral internship at Trinity Ecumenical Parish (Moneta, VA). He has also served in various ministry roles with congregations in Clinton, Columbia, and Walhalla, SC.
In addition to his work at Reformation, Pastor Christopher is proud dad to Arthur. In the greater Church, he serves as dean of the Upstate Conference of the South Carolina Synod of the ELCA, and is a church consultant and clergy coach with Pinnacle Leadership Associates.

Tricia Brown
Office Administrator
Tricia is a Lancaster native and resides in the Buford Community. Tricia is honored to work at Reformation and enjoys witnessing the many ways this small church comes together for those in need within the community and beyond. Even though she is a lifelong member of Tabernacle UMC, where she is also an administrative assistant and financial secretary, she fondly regards Reformation as her church family.
Tricia enjoys her downtime, whether it's relaxing with her cat Louie, spending quality time with friends and family and their fur babies, getting lost in a good book, enjoying the quietness of nature, or savoring precious moments with her daughter Alaina, son-in-law Chris, and their beloved dog Annabelle in the upstate region.
